The Inaugural Sydney Premier League Finals were played at Cammeray last night. In front of a large appreciative crowd of croquet enthusiasts Peter Landrebe beat Alan Walsh 26TP-0. Earlier in the evening Pete beat Alison Sharpe 26-11 and Alan beat Alix Verge 26-9. It is hoped that other major centres in Australia will have their own premier leagues in the future and that interstate competition at this level will flourish.

The CNSW Selection Committee is now calling for Expressions of Interest from all female Association players with handicaps of 8 or less to register their interest in attending the 2014 Eva Short Memorial Women’s Trophy to be conducted at Tempe from Friday 31 October until Sunday 2 November. Those players wishing to be considered for this event may register their interest or by phone 042 762 9953. Expressions close Friday 8th August.
