CNSW Website Sign InSign In provides access by individual members, club secretaries and CNSW officers to the following tasks. Available tasks depend on the signed in username.
Sign InTo sign in, enter a valid username and password, then press Sign In.
Press Help to display this page, which describes all sign in tasks. If you have not entered a valid username and password, the following sign in message is displayed. Note that the username is not case-sensitive, but the password is.
If the username is valid but the password is incorrect, the following is displayed. Press Send Password to send an email containing it to the email address for that username.
The send password message will advise whether sending this email has succeeded.
Select the Member Sign In Help link for assistance. If sign in is successful, the welcome page is displayed. When signed in, after visiting other parts of the website, the sign in page redirects to the welcome page. When you next sign in using the same device and browser, the username field will be set to that of the last successful sign in. A signed in session lasts 20 minutes after no activity has occurred. Players outside NSW/ACT can enter CNSW events by following the steps below.
WelcomeAfter successful sign in, you are invited to select the task you wish to perform. Available tasks depend on the signed in username. Click the link for the task you wish to perform. Press Help to display this page, which describes the available tasks. Each of the following task pages ends with a Close button, which returns to this page. The Sign In tab may also be used to return to this page after sign in, which is easier if the Close button is at the end of a long page. Members AreaAll members have access to Members Area pages, which provide information not available to the general public. Change passwordTo change your password, enter the new password, then re-enter it, then press Save.
If the two entered passwords are not the same, the following message is displayed.
If the new password is unacceptable, the following message is displayed.
If the new password is acceptable, the change is confirmed.
An email containing the changed password is sent to the email address of the current username. Press Close to return to the welcome screen. CNSW Event RegistrationAll members can use this function to register to play in CNSW events. In addition, this function can be used to list those who registered for recent past events. Whenever an event registration is added, edited or removed, an advisory email is sent to the member involved, CC the Event Registrar, CNSW Tournaments and the CNSW Office. A member selector is shown if the sign in username is an email address which is shared by more than one member, otherwise the signed in member name is shown. An event selector is shown. For event registration, the selector includes all events with a future Draw date (or Start date if the Draw date has not been specified). If an event has an entry limit and that limit has been reached, registration is waitlisted, and the Event Registrar, CNSW Tournaments or the CNSW Office can subsequently confirm the registration if space becomes available. If the Show earlier events checkbox is selected, the selector includes all events with Start date since two years ago, and event registration is disabled. When an event is selected its details are shown, followed by a list of those registered.
If the Event Registrar has not yet been specified, CNSW Tournaments is shown. Entrant handicaps and indexes are shown for the code of the event if specified, unless Show earlier events was selected. When signed in as the Event Registrar, CNSW Tournaments or the CNSW Office:
Click a row of the table to change an existing registration, or press Register to add a new registration, and a registration details form is displayed above the table.
When signed in as the Event Registrar, CNSW Tournaments or the CNSW Office, if an existing registration has been waitlisted, one of the following is also displayed:
Press Remove to remove an existing registration, which issues the following confirmation dialog.
Press OK to proceed with, or Cancel to cancel, the removal of this registration. Change the registration comments as required. Press Save to update the registration. If the registration comments to be saved are not acceptable, the following message occurs including the reason.

If the registration comments to be saved are acceptable, the entrant handicap is then compared with the event handicap range for AC, GC and Ricochet events, and if out of this range the following confirmation dialog is issued.
If registration is confirmed, the registration details form is removed and the table is updated. Press Cancel to remove the registration details form. Press Close to return to the welcome screen. Edit club detailsTo edit your club details, enter the desired changes, then press Save.
Club name, address, suburb, president and secretary names are capitalised if entered in only lower or upper case. Note that club treasurer details are currently only displayed on this page, for use by the CNSW Records Officer and Treasurer. Club formation date is the date the club commenced. Club Incorporation number should be entered if the club is incorporated. If the club details to be saved are not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons.

If the club details to be saved are acceptable, the change is confirmed with: Club details updated Press Close to return to the welcome screen. Edit club membersA table of your current club members is displayed.
Note that this and other tables can be copied to a spreadsheet application by selecting it, copying the selection to the clipboard, then pasting the clipboard into the spreadsheet application. This can be done when using Internet Explorer and Excel, and may be possible with other software. To edit your club members, click a row of the table to change an existing member, or press Add to add a new member, and a member details form is displayed above the table. Edit my details also displays this form, as does Enter my details in an abbreviated form for players outside NSW/ACT.
Press Remove to remove an existing member, which issues the following confirmation dialog.
Press OK to proceed with, or Cancel to cancel, the removal of this member. Enter or change member details as required.
Press Save to update the member. If the member details to be saved are not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons (* only when entering a player outside NSW/ACT).

Note that Handicap Min, Handicap Max, Register, Entry Limit, Draw Date, Event Code and Event Registrar are only shown for CNSW events. The Handicap field may contain any text, such as "Open"; alternatively for CNSW events, the Handicap Min and Handicap Max fields may specify lower and upper handicap limits, which are checked during event registration. To edit events, click a row of the table to change an existing event, or press Add to add a new event, and an event details form is displayed above the table.

Note that the club event title "Makara" is accepted, this event should be maintained by one of its participating clubs. If the event details to be saved are acceptable, the event details form is removed and the table is updated. If saving the event details involves uploading a flier, the following message is displayed: Please wait while flier is uploaded.... Press Cancel to remove the event details form. Press Close to return to the welcome screen. Edit club competitionsClub competitions are events held within a club, such as club championships. Clubs should add these events in the same way as above, so that they can be referenced in resulting handicap changes. Edit inter-club eventsInter-club events are competitions between two or more clubs. One of the participating clubs should add these events in the same way as above, so that they can be referenced in resulting handicap changes. Edit CNSW eventsCNSW events are managed by the CNSW Tournaments Manager in the same way as above, except that Event Code is included. Edit CNSW meetingsCNSW meetings are managed by the CNSW Secretary in the same way as above. Edit other eventsOther events (such as national or international events) are managed by the CNSW Tournaments Manager in the same way as above. Event calendar publication datesThis task is for use by the CNSW Tournaments Manager. When the CNSW event calendar publication date is reached, the Events page will include links for the following year, except for Club and All events calendars for which TBA will be shown until the Club event calendar publication date is reached. Unpublished event calendars include a DRAFT heading.
Enter or change publication dates as required, then press Save. If the publication dates to be saved are not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons.

Press Close to return to the welcome screen. CNSW club detailsThis task is for use by CNSW officers, to obtain club details spreadsheets for mailouts and other purposes. CNSW handicap administrationThis task is for use by the CNSW State Handicapper, and by other handicappers defined using the CNSW handicapper administration task.
Enter text which member surnames begin with and press Search, to display a table of these members, their handicaps and handicap indexes, and when these were last changed.
Alternatively, enter a date and press Search to list all handicap changes since that date.
With the details form displayed, a date search lists all handicap changes for that member since that date. To edit the handicaps of a member, click a row of either table, and a handicap details form is displayed above it.
The event selector includes all events for the previous 90 days. Enter or change handicap details as required, then press Save. If the handicap details to be saved are not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons.

CNSW member administrationThis task is for use by the CNSW Records Officer, to assign an ACA ID to each playing member, and to determine the affiliated club. Non-playing members are assigned an Affil of Y by the Edit club members task, and are ignored here. When a club adds a new member, the ID and Affil fields of the new member are not assigned. To edit the ID and/or Affil of a member, click a row of the table, and a details form is displayed above the table.
Enter or change the ID and/or Affil as required, then press Save. If the ID and/or Affil to be saved are not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons.

Enter a date and press Search to list members who have joined since that date.
Press Close to return to the welcome screen. CNSW club administrationThis task is primarily for use by the CNSW Website Administrator. A table of clubs is displayed.
To edit clubs, click a row of the table to change an existing club, or press Add to add a new club, and a club details form is displayed above the table.
Note that other club details are edited using the Edit club details task. Press Remove to remove an existing club, which issues the following confirmation dialog.

Select the qualification level to display current members with that qualification, and the dates at which the qualification expires for each member (e.g. requires re-accreditation). For Handicappers and WWC records, the selector is not shown. For WWC records, WWC Check No and Verified columns are included.
Click a row of the table to change the qualification expiry date of an existing member, and a details form is displayed above the table.
Change the qualification expiry date as required, then press Save. The date may be entered manually, or by clicking [...] and using the calendar. If the qualification expiry date to be saved is not acceptable, one or more of the following messages occur stating the reasons.

For Handicappers, if a new handicapper is added or an expired handicapper is reinstated, advice is sent to the member by email that the CNSW handicap administration task has been added to their sign in account, with credentials if this is a new account. Press Close to return to the welcome screen. CNSW account administrationThis task is for use by the CNSW Website Administrator. A table of accounts is displayed, showing the tasks to which each account has access.
To edit accounts, click a row of the table to change an existing account, or press Add to add a new account, and an account details form is displayed above the table.
Press Remove to remove an existing account, which issues the following confirmation dialog.
