Australian Under 21 Golf Croquet Championships

CNSW fielded 3 of the 5 players at the Australian Under 21 Golf Croquet Championships, at Cairnlea in Melbourne on 24-25 Sept 2016. Pictured are (L to R) Anthony Dask (Elsternwick CC), Lana Sexton (Manly CC), Charlie Sharpe (Killara CC), Jamie Gumbrell (Canberra CC) & Jack Williams (Traralgon CC). Charlie Sharpe narrowly lost the playoff for the title 9-10, after Jack Williams managed to beat Charlie 2-1 in their final block best-of-3 match to tie Charlie on match wins. All 5 players, plus Edward Wilson (Millswood CC in Adelaide), have since been selected to play in the World Under 21 GC Championships, also in Melbourne in Feb 2017.
