The cnswplayers list has been hosted by Yahoo Groups but, over the years, the service from Yahoo has deteriorated and recently the list was out of service for several days.
The Yahoo list was also quite cumbersome to join and to maintain and so we have been looking for a better solution.
A better solution was found with a relatively new group called 'groups.io' which, incidentally, has been set up by the same guy, Mark Fletcher, who developed the initial group e-mail list which was later purchased by Yahoo.
Information and the members list has been transferred to the new groups.io platform and the has changed.
The new list provides the same basic facilities as the Yahoo list but has more features if we need them including a Calendar, File and photo storage, a database and a Wiki. If desired it can also provide integration with other social media such as Facebook, Blogs, Instagram or Google Hangouts although these haven’t been set up yet.
